TROY DAVIS by Terry Brodner

Troy  Davis  was sentenced  to death in 1991 for the shooting of an off duty police officer.  His repeated appeals have been denied.  Three new witnesses have recanted their testimonies and were ignored by Judge Moore. Troy Davis is now facing execution within the next few weeks.

    Modern day lynching. That is exactly what this is. I feel like African Americans are back at square one, we are still SLAVES. The government is corrupt and racism is alive and well! Witnesses recanted their testimonials, you have no evidence, but you still allow a black man to die? MODERN DAY LYNCHING! What can we do? We have to do something!
